There are a few things I’d like to point out that I have noticed in this series:
1. Korra has yet to go into the Avatar State
2. The Spirit World has not come up at all, and the only mention of spirits came from Amon when he states that the spirits have been “speaking to him” and he possesses a spiritual power (one thought that only the Avatar could possess)
I really think that Korra needs to speak with Aang. He is definitely trying to show her something with these visions.
It’s hard to discern what is happening here, but Toph and Aang are both angry at this mystery person, who resembles Tarlok in some ways, mostly in the hairline and eyebrows. He could be his father or related to him in some other way. Then it’s hard to discern who is in the background in the bottom left panel, but it seems to be the counsel room and I feel like the foreground is meant to be misleading to the audience.
Either way, folks, I sense a major twist is brewing.
